New Carl Marshall album “Going Back to the Blues” March 6, 2012

New Orleans-based bluesman Carl Marshall has been called the “Philosopher of the Blues” because of his lyrical insight. His new album “Back to the Blues” features guest appearances by Lucky Peterson and Bobby Rush, and 13 all-new songs that bridge the gap between traditional and urban blues. The album will be in stores on March 6, 2012 on CDS Records.

Rehab’s new album “Gullible’s Travels” releases today!

Multi-platinum rock/hip-hop group, Rehab, have released their highly anticipated album, Gullible’s Travels – in stores today, Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Produced by Danny Alexander and Shannon “Fat Shan” Houchins, this is the group’s first release on their new record label AVJ Records, a subsidiary of Average Joes Entertainment.

Rehab, best known for their hit single, “The Bartender Song (Sittin’ At A Bar,)” consists of Danny Boone and Demun Jones (vocals) with DJ Chris Crisis. Their single, “Waho by the Hoti,” produced by Dallas Austin (Michael Jackson, TLC, Boyz II Men, Pink, Madonna,) can be found on the new album, Gullible’s Travels, with their video for “King of Tweekers,” (also found on Gullible’s Travels,) recently debuted on the band’s website.

Dorothy Norwood Wins Stellar Award, Prepares to Release New Album March 20, 2012

Dorothy Norwood has been a major force in gospel music for many years, and this year, she received the highest honor at the Stellar Awards, receiving the Bobby Jones Legend Award for her contribution to gospel music. Her single “Victory Is Mine” was also featured in the popular motion picture The Help.

Now she is releasing her newest album, appropriately titled “God’s Been Just That Good”, which will be released March 20, 2012 on Malaco Records, and which will be available in stores everywhere.

New Solo album “Christ Over All” April 17, 2012

Solo is a veteran of the Chicano rap scene, but he embarks on a new phase of his career with the launch of the Christian Chicano rap album “Christ Over All” on April 17, 2012. The album will be released on SL Entertainment, and features guest appearances from such veterans as Mister D, Sleep Malo and Siete.
